Here is a fun project I’ve been working on in my Photoshop class. We were provided with a antique photo that had been scanned. Like many old photos this one had many imperfections…writing across the front, flex on the screen when it was scanned, and a signature on the corner. First we fixed the imperfections, then sharpened the image, and last we had some fun and played with some color. We still have two classes to work on this image…so this is still a work in progress.
Updated 9/19/08, Here is a little more progress on my photo. Its pretty much done but we have one more class we can work on it.
I can’t resist…I just won the Scrapblog.com Summer CHA Challenge 08. IT was the first time they offered a prize for a contest…and I won. Its a Nikon D60 Digital SLR Camera. I can’t wait for it to arrive…the girls at work probably think I’m stalking the UPS driver.
Here is my winning design…
Thank you to my wonderful model, Robyn.
Here is one of the first slideshows I created. This was done for my mother-in-law’s suprise 50th birthday.
Here is my little man up north. He could only have been happier running around naked.
Here’s my baby. I’m still trying to figure out where all that dark hair went to.

One of my favorite photos taken on Lake Michigan…Everett was walking in the sand…its a lot of work for little legs. Second photos is Everett playing with the grass on the deck. I really have to work on editing the TV antenna out of the background.

I just love the colors in this next photo. Everett had just gotten his new Ikea tunnel. His outfit was perfect with it.
I’m taking the blogging plunge. I hope this blog will document my artistic developments and encourage me in my new hobby.
Stop by often, drop some encouraging words, and feel free to share with friends.
